Renfrewshire Council Libraries Selects Vubis Smart

Bristol, UK, July 7, 2008.Infor announced today that Renfrewshire Council Libraries located in Paisley, United Kingdom, has selected Vubis Smart, Infor's integrated library system. The Renfrewshire Libraries will implement Vubis Smart along with Infor's statistical analysis portal, V-insight.

“Renfrewshire Council Libraries will be upgrading to Vubis Smart from its current Geac PLUS system,” says Steve Barker, General Manager of Infor UK Libraries Division. “Besides Vubis Smart, the Libraries will also implement V-insight - our Web-based statistical portal that provides libraries with comprehensive performance data and metrics. With both Vubis Smart and V-insight the Renfrewshire Council Libraries will provide the highest quality services to its users while gaining a thorough understanding of usage trends and activities throughout the Libraries.”

The Renfrewshire Council Libraries include 11 community libraries, 2 mobile libraries, the Paisley Central Lending Library, the Paisley Central Reference Library, a Local Studies Library and a Toy Library service. Through the e-reference Library, users enjoy remote access to a variety of reference sources and subscription databases on the web.
