Vubis Smart is an Integrated Library System that enables libraries and information centers to organize and present data from any source and in any format. The system incorporates convenient workflows and easy-to-use administrative tools. Staff can define multiple formats, databases, indexes, search methods and more. Distinctive rules and parameters may be defined to meet the requirements of individual branches and locations.
Through the Vubis Smart Web OPAC, libraries can offer their users a suite of customization and community-building tools that enhance the user experience and create a highly dynamic, personalized online environment. Users can simultaneously search multiple databases, link to subscription resources and customize the Web OPAC interface for appearance, language and search results. Through 'Rate & Review', users can share thoughts and ideas about any item with other library users. Additional Web OPAC features include 'Fuzzy Logic', 'Associative Searching', Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI) and customized news feeds (RSS).
